Long
ago darkness crept into the land, seething its way in to the world.
With corrupted hearts, men served the demoness, Tiamat as their ruler.
In the name of the Lord of the Light, a cadre of knights assembled who
named themselves the Order of the Sun. The Order fought tooth and nail
against the demonic powers and gained many followers. In their
fight they acted first and interrogated second. Even though the group
agreed that evil should be vanquished, not all agreed with the method.
Sir
Henry Carrington was first to speak against the Order’s ways. He
demanded that the Order discover all sides of a story, even the "monstrous" side, before confronting
and condemning. Surprisingly, several other knights stood behind him in
agreement. But Carrington’s new methods were questioned, differences
could not be settled and eventually Carrington and his followers left the Order. In exile, Sir Henry and his followers gathered all
knowledge of wild magical creatures and strove to understand what lay in
the shadows. They branded themselves the Lunar Tribe and conducted
their business with the the evening’s creatures deep within the forest
to avoid the reach of the Order of the Sun.
Members
of the Lunar Tribe are just as heroic as their counterparts in the
Order... but in their own unique way. Lunar Tribe members are considered
cautious, contemplative, imaginative, mysterious and clever. Though
their methods are not always traditional, their intentions are always
for the greater good of their band and those in need.
Seeking
to reestablish earthly harmony after the dragon defiled Bristol’s
grounds, the Lunar Tribe needs heroes to champion her cause to the
common man who may (falsely) believe that the Tribe engages in evil
practices. The Band of the Twisted Claw’s leader, Thoren Grymm, senses a
darkness rising akin to the ancient demoness. Sensing a long battle
ahead, the Lunar Tribe urges you to join their fellowship with open
minds.
